00 Quick question. Did you know about 70% of your views on YouTube come from non-subscribers? Not just YouTube. Instagram Reels, a large percentage of them when you're first starting out, come from non-followers. And today, I'll show you six proven ways to grow not just your brand, but a content strategy. We call it organic marketing. If you haven't already, like, subscribe, hit the bell, comment, share this with a thousand and one people.

03 grows. Thank you for being a valued subscriber. Thank you for commenting, liking and sharing and taking a moment of your time. We want to talk today about organic reach. And so organic reach is instead of paying for ads or instead of getting a billboard or posting a sign or digital ads or whatever it is, you're doing a naturally seen process. So, um, some organic reach moments, we'll talk about, um, some forms of organic reach are simple, you know, they're like word of mouth advertising.

04 Even though I may say that search engine optimizations, sometimes too much in that basket with AI and all that may not be a way to grow your brand. Another way is generating community buzz using Reddit, using those kinds of things. Another way is a content management strategy or content strategy in general, just the ability to create content. This podcast is a version of organic marketing designed to showcase my skills to help you to connect with people who have some advanced questions and advanced comments and advanced needs.

13 you know, like SEO requires a website designer. SEO may also require a web developer, you know, those kinds of things. Content management strategy might require you to learn how to set up an iPhone and buy a podcast mic and learn how to edit. Or maybe it's you hire a videographer. So there are some costs to organic reach, but strictly speaking, the ROI on organic reach is exceptionally, percentages above standard marketing.

17 get that sale because the person thinks you're credible. That's very important. Very, very important. I can't stress that enough. Becoming credible allows you to make those sales and allows you to make those transitions. So from organic reach, you can do something. Number one, search engine optimization. You can do, if you're posting podcasts. Okay, great. Keyword research, titles, descriptions, and tags. Do some basic research. You do keyword research and titles, keyword reach and descriptions, keyword reach and tags, but you use these in such a way that a human being would use them.

21 deprioritize you. It used to be you could do those tactics, but they since then revised the YouTube algorithm, the Google algorithm, that if you stick keywords in certain components, you're going to find that if you over put keywords in descriptions, and you put nine keywords in your title, if it's not organic, if it doesn't read naturally, that you're going to be deprioritized. But if it does read naturally, that's a great way to upgrade.

22 possible or adapt AI to your voice. So it's about 20, 30% changed so that when Google crawls it, it doesn't see that your entire blog post is AI made because if it does, it'll deprioritize you. Remember the analog, the algorithm, sorry, is designed for natural reach. The algorithm's sole purpose is natural reach. Now this is for a search engine optimization and for YouTube. Now for reels, it's not actually, they don't care about keywords and titles.

29 algorithm is. And they do this because they want things to be natural. They want things to be organic, but the algorithm doesn't care because the algorithm is designed for maximizing ad revenue. Not maximizing your reach. The algorithm is designed to gain people's eyeballs on that platform, whatever platform it is, TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Google, so that they can maximize advertising. This is why Google was okay with putting artificial intelligence in their search engine results so that you just see it.

32 And so another big, big, big, big, big, big, big search engine optimization trick that's not really spoken about and is why a lot of content platforms add the anchor tag attribute rel nofollow. They do that because leveraging backlinks helps you form relevancy. A backlink is when someone else, like a blog talks about you, your service, ETC, and it includes a link, Google looks at that and it's like, okay, this blog is reputable.

32 post a blog post about it? Tag my website. Just, just let us know how you felt about it. Like, put a review or maybe, you know, tell the good things and the bad, who cares? You're just adding that backlink information. And of course, if it's a bad review, then don't, don't, don't ask them to write it. Number two, social media syndication. Syndication sounds like a really pretty word.

37 creating a content reach strategy that's above and beyond one platform. And it's okay to share content because each platform has a unique group of audience members that all different, and you might be reaching more audience members on YouTube, but you could reach a high value sale on Instagram or Facebook or LinkedIn. The more you create a reach to your content, the more you're going to be able to grow organically.

40 someone who's in your niche, well-known, you comment on them, but you comment organically. You don't say, Hey, go check out my post. That's spam. That's going to get you delisted off that platform, but rather listen to the post. Hey, I summarize it, find something to talk about, engage in the post and audience members are naturally going to see if it's, if it's a natural, like a philosophical debate, for example, if it's a natural ad that you, okay, this is what they said, and you agree with it.

47 them one-on-one. And sometimes he'd do group classes and he grew that exclusively by commenting on other influencers, IG posts, commenting and growing naturally. And just, you know, that conversation that would go back and forth. He'd get people hopping onto his page because the conversation was readable organically. It was helpful. Okay. Organically helpful. And that kind of engagement is going to pull someone over. So if you sell merchandise, find someone who sells merchandise like you and all this great thing.

48 or that you're AI or that you're trying to trick the algorithm or trying to trick people. People organically have that sense that you're trying to trick me. So fight that urge, fight that urge. Do not over promote yourself. In fact, organic reach is a form of promotion, but don't have to say, this is my business. This is the service I do. This is the website. Go ahead.

51 here's a color palette. I think would be really, really cool. I do a little bit of research, let people know that you're thinking about them. I came across this, um, yesterday and it's a very true business perspective. If you showcase to someone to a client or someone before you get them as a client, like as a prospect, you showcase their prospect that you started a little bit of work.

52 important information from that client. And you know, like it's a, uh, mine tree. So it's just like, here's your address and here's this, and here's this, here's your domain. Here's your social and just draw lines connecting it. And so it looks like it's where, and he'll take a photo of him. Well, Hey, already preparing for our meeting. We're super excited. I can't wait to talk to you about some of the ideas we have.

59 I started doing this myself. It's a little difficult sometimes to find the right Discord group, the right Reddit group. Of course, don't send your 16 year old on Reddit, send someone that has some sense and Discord and Facebook groups. But you got to find some that aren't overly promoting, but have people that have the problem that you can solve. So, okay, maybe a Facebook group of consultants and marketers isn't a good idea for consulting marketing firm.

01 buy one of their products and services. And they're purposely looking to kick out anyone else that is in their forms and their discussion groups. That's going to be another business. And they do this because you're stepping in on their territory. If it's one of those groups, that's not what you need. You need an organic group developed by someone who really had a problem that needs it solved.

05 and you have a YouTube channel, that's got a thousand views or an Instagram, that's got, you know, a couple thousand followers, you can do a live, you can do an AMA or a Q and A and just turn people who are, uh, who saw a post and hit the follow button, but aren't actually following you. We call them lurkers, turn them into more loyal fans and loyal fans will preach you to other people.

11 YouTube. And if you haven't already like comments, subscribe, it's felt like an organic way to just breach into there. Remember this podcast only grows from faithful and loyal followers, loyal fans, just like you and subscribers, but this is long form. So a long form video can be turned into a series of, uh, posts on X or tweets on X. It can be, you can convert some of the stuff you've talked to into image carousels, or you can convert them to reels, but we'll get there in a moment.

13 of time. And I'm going to walk you through some great tools that you can use. We talk about reels at the end of this podcast. So number five is now collaboration. Okay. So I did an interview with director Alfredo Battle. Great interview. He, that interview was fantastic. It took me about 12 hours to edit. Praise God. Hallelujah. Zoom is not the best platform for doing interviews, but if you want to use it, it's got a record button.

17 creators that'll be like, yes, I know you only have 15 subscribers. No problem. Still going to let you use my audience. We're still going to grow organically. Maybe you need to use smaller people, less known people to grow. But most of the time, an influencer is not going to give you a free lunch. So if you have 10,000 or 5,000 or even, you know, a couple thousand followers and views, it's a new audience reach.

19 gets you into a new audience, which gets the algorithm to throw you up onto new other audiences and that organic reach to grow. And that's the benefit of cross. We call it cross pollination of audiences. So they have an audience. You have an audience. You guys share audiences. No problem with that. Right. And you may be leeching off their audiences to grow a little bit, but it helps.

19 those kinds of things. That's another organic reach moment. And of course you can send video alerts with engaging subject lines. You know, YouTube, when you post a video, it'll email it or post people's notification. Same thing with other platforms. Now I will say this platforms have gotten a lot more, uh, tight. I have a tight handle on their notifications. So just because you post something and you hit the bell and hit subscribe does not mean you're going to get any notifications at all.

27 together. So I recommend that you block time to content, strategy, development, and you, okay, this is what we're talking about. Here's an hour. I'm going to be, I'm going to hop into the studio, grab a podcast mic, and we're going to talk. Great. That's organic reach. Pull up a outline, create some notes, help, you know, use ChatGPT. It's fine. Enhance it with your own stuff. Don't just like read it verbatim, but it's okay to use the tools at your fingertips to change and transform your content and elevate it.

32 where we walk up the wrong side of the bed and everything and everyone frustrates you. We have them. Maybe it's because I didn't have enough coffee. Who knows? But it's, it's a real thing. And so guard your heart, guard your mind. And when you get angry, sin not. So try to keep a tight lock on your lips. Walk away from the situation. Calm down. If you're a Christian, getting God's presence, let his peace wash over you.

33 only God can minister to your spirit. Yeah. Mind, body, soul, spirit. Yeah. Okay. So putting all together, you know, set some time out, right? Get a process going, schedule, check the analytics. Don't check them too often. You're going to start slow. It's okay. It's okay. You're going to find out what people love, what people hate. It'll grow organically. And now for the piece of resistance, the organic hack, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram reels.

34 vertical videos. And I've tested this, and this is 100% true. So even if this podcast are like 16 by nine, I make up nine by 16, but they're boxing, putting my captions underneath. But if I do this one, there's an AI app that I got called captions, it's like $10 a month. Great. I take my long form, paste it in there. It cuts it up into five breathable snackable bites, one minute bites, right?

41 way to get some organic reach. Because the algorithm favors that, but they're more snackable videos, small bites of information, even if it's in the middle of a podcast, there's not a lot of content, but you know, there's 30 seconds of something great that I can latch on to. And I can say these 30 seconds are great for my reels. These 30 seconds of snackable bite, the algorithm is going to love that.

41 and think of it as adding points. So if you, if you people stay 30%, okay, maybe you have two, three more points in the algorithm, and that gets you to 300 more reach or to 3000 more reach, depending on how many followers and such, it's all based on your starting point, and how it grows. And of course, if something gets shared, and becomes viral, then sky's the limit, the algorithm accepts it and lets it go because it's been shared a lot.

44 your main video and hook in the first three seconds and captions for silent play. Okay. This process using a video editor can take you about an hour to two hours. If you're sifting through long form content, it may take you about two hours to find the good content, cut it up and then to caption it, check the spelling and do the animations and those kinds of things.

44 captions, you send a little this way. Anyway, so captions, right? I copy my YouTube URL, paste it, submit 30 minutes to an hour later. It comes back. Here are five things we think are viral. They always send to start in some weird part and they miss some information in the beginning. And at the end, they kind of like end weird. Okay. They'll only choose a highlight section.

51 you may want to do great. Take that, export that 60 seconds, export that minute and a half, two minutes at the most, export that, put that into captions app and hit generate captions. Boom, animate the captions. No problem. And then to keep that engagement going, you can even, you know, put in 16 by nine or horizontal video and it'll convert to vertical. You know, you do, you have three options.

00 makes lots of financial sense and it saves me time and it develops more content fast. And I also tested, I did a big test the other day and actually it was yesterday. And I tested TikTok and I tested Instagram and I tested, well, not Instagram. I did TikTok and YouTube. And I found that you can paste two to three reels a day. Don't do any more than that.

06 get some coffee, take a shower, go to work. And then at the end of the day, like already on the phone, be like, Oh, look, my friend sent me a reel. Oh, look, here's some more reels. So that's how you organically grow. Okay. So bonus tip, cross posting your reels is okay. Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube have separate audiences, have separate growth patterns. Posting it and all of them is fine.

07 long run. Like it's a long game. Like posting on YouTube is a long game kind of thing. You know, if you ever played chess, you know, someone starts, Oh, I can kill you in four moves. Usually you can't. You play a chess master like no. And if you're a chess master, you're going to, that game is going to keep going and going and going and going. It's a long game.

08 for all of my audience, Lord God, that you give them peace that passes all understanding, that your presence would resonate in the room and wherever they're watching this, their office, wherever it is, Lord God, that your presence would resonate, Lord God, and they would feel connected to who you are, to the creative source of all power. Lord God, give them creativity beyond measure, Lord God, give them inspiration and connect them not only with the content that was taught today, Lord God, but connect with them and expand their territory.
